VALENTINE’S DAY

AT HOME - VALENTINES DAY SHOOT - DEMI BANG AT HOME - VALENTINES DAY SHOOT - DEMI BANG AT HOME - VALENTINES DAY SHOOT - DEMI BANGPhotographer: Shots by Angie
Stylist: Francesca Navarro
Models: Valerie Loo and Emily Allen

Valentine’s Day started becoming my favorite day since 8th grade when my friends and I all exchanged handwritten letters and gifts! This special day is more than just spending time with your significant other. To me, it is about spending time with your friends and family. It’s a day to let them know that you love and appreciate them!

I am so grateful for everyone who took a part in this collaboration. Thank you so much Angie for photographing us. Thank you so much to my best friends, Emily and Valerie, for putting up with my immaturity and getting up around 5 am for this shoot, hehehe. Also, thank you Francesca for taking time out of your day to style this shoot.

I love this super comfy shirt that was sent to me by LeMotto. They have a huge variety of shirts with different phrases on them and what really stands out to me from this brand is their personal statement! They strive to send positivity, as well as encouragement through these shirts. Definitely go check them out and cop a shirt if you can!

StyleWe was kind enough to send me a pink sweater and a black blazer for this shoot. The quality on these clothing is absolutely amazing. The blazer is so durable and I absolutely love pairing it with jeans to make it a little more put together. We shot these photos at Tempe Town Lake and I never knew how beautiful it is! Hint hint, it’s even more beautiful at night! So if you’re ever in the area, definitely check this place out!

THE 5TH TIME

THE 5TH CO WATCH - ANGIE COX - DEMI BANG THE 5TH CO WATCH - ANGIE COX - DEMI BANG THE 5TH CO WATCH - ANGIE COX - DEMI BANG THE 5TH CO WATCH - ANGIE COX - DEMI BANGPhotographer: Shots by Angie

For the 5th time, I’m in love with Angie. Haha, see what I did there? Anyways, this watch that was sent to me by The 5th. This is the SoHo watch from their New York Classic collection. The watch came with two straps: a rose gold and a light grey one! As you can see, it’s pretty much goes with any outfit. I’m literally OBSESS with this watch. Never thought in a million years I would wear a leather strap watch; I’ve always stuck to my Michael Kors stainless steel watches (I think that’s what it’s called? Not sure!). Did not think it would really fit my style to be honest, but I find myself head over heels for leather strap watches. Now I know what I’m gonna ask for Christmas!

Here’s a little info about their company:
– Their products are available on the 5th of each month, for 5 days (Make sure you mark your calendars or sign up to be part of their VIP list!)
– If you join their VIP list, you have access to the products 9 hour before it’s available to the public (Get them before it’s sold out!)
– They currently have 3 watch collections: Melbourne Minimal, New York Classic, and Tokyo (Check out my YouTube unboxing video on the Fuyu watch from their Tokyo collection!)
– The 5TH has free shipping and returns worldwide (Uh, thank you!!!)
– 2-5 day delivery within the US (Shoutout to all my impatient followers!)

Also, thank you so much to Angie for shooting with me! I love her oh so much and every picture she takes comes out beautifully. Seriously, if anyone needs senior/family/whatever pictures, ask her because she has magic or something. Also, shoutout to Tea Swirl for letting us (Well, we didn’t really ask for permission… But we did rearrange a thing or two!) shoot in your store. You guys should definitely try their Okinawan Milk Tea with brown sugar boba. IT IS SO GOOD. Also, check in on Yelp so you can get 15% off of your order!

IDGAF

Photographer: Mariah Moneda

This shoot I did with Mariah was so fun! She did my makeup and I seriously love it. To be honest, I’m always nervous when makeup artists do my makeup, especially if I don’t see any Asian eyes in their portfolio. I was really hyped when I saw myself in the mirror. I felt like my makeup actually suited me and that the eye makeup wasn’t too much. When I first looked in the mirror, I was like, “Damn. I dig it.” Mariah also did my hair and she had use dental floss to tie my hair together since we didn’t have a hair tie. Haha, which is really smart if you ask me!

We explored around Arizona State University and Mariah showed me some sick places on campus that I never knew existed! The pictures we took there really gives the “IDGAF” lifestyle vibe, which I totally love. We also went to Zia Record Exchange, the RADDEST place ever, and did a little shoot there. They had this section of comic related stuff and I legit wanted to buy everything Flash related. (Anyone obsess with Flash like I am? Where is all my Barry Allen fans at?!)

Mariah also took me to Dutch Bros (SO GOOD) and In N Out. If you haven’t tried Dutch Bros yet, you’re seriously missing out! I got the Trifecta and it was super chocolatey. Highly recommend this if you love chocolate or have a super sweet tooth. I am seriously now addicted to Dutch Bros.

P.S. If you’re reading this, Mariah, thanks again for taking me to Dutch Bros!

At last, I finally got to shoot with the talented Bree. I had DM’ed her on Instagram back during Super Bowl season about working together but unfortunately, she was busy that day. I never really tried setting up a shoot again because I was kind of nervous that she was going to charge me (I mean, why wouldn’t she? Her work is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L). We originally had planned to shoot at this ice cream place with another photographer but some things came up so we kind of did a last minute improvised lifestyle shoot, which was totally fine with me. These pictures came out amazing, so I’m not complaining! We shot around her parent’s neighborhood, in a shopping cart, and on a rooftop.

Fun fact: I’m a bit scared of heights, but I love the adrenaline so it was totally worth it.
