I am a bit late on this, but for Valentine’s Day this year, I decided to do 14 days of Valentine’s Day! I didn’t do anything festive for the holidays (Christmas or New Year’s), so I wanted to do something super festive for Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day is so much fun with all the pink, and red, hearts, roses, and more!
Be My Valentine
The 14 days of Valentine’s Day were definitely quite a challenge. It was hard to conceptualize different themes without them feeling redundant. I feel like I could have done much better if I had time management correctly, but I am proud that I kept up with it for two weeks straight!
It was a lot of stress, but here are my 14 days of Valentine’s Day –
You can view the first three days of this challenge on my Valentine’s Day Poems blog post.
Day 4 of 14 Days
My friend Ashley and I were exploring downtown Phoenix and decided to take these casual photos! I love the color of my Lilly Pulitzer sweatshirt.
Day 5 of 14 Days
This was one of my favorites from this challenge. I had a lot of fun with this idea and overall, I feel like it’s just so cute! I love blowing a kiss and red lipstick.
Day 6 of 14 Days
I saw this XO balloon in the bedroom set up on Pinterest and wanted to recreate my own version of it!
Day 7 of 14 Days
What’s more mysterious than hiding behind a red heart balloon?
Day 8 of 14 Days
I saw a similar concept with fluffy sleeves and heart-shaped candles in a martini glass. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a martini glass, so these antiques from my mom will have to do!
Day 9 of 14 Days
This was one of my favorite concepts! February 9th is National Pizza Day and what better way to celebrate the 9th day of this challenge than by having pizza! I picked up pizza from my favorite pizzeria in Chandler, Arizona called Bella Gusto. Their Santa Merda pizza is so good! I got a few of my former coworkers hooked on it a few years ago.
Day 10 of 14 Days
I saw a similar concept of roses on the wall on Pinterest, so I decided to recreate my own. I used fake roses and taped them to the backdrop!
Day 11 of 14 Days
I wanted to do some content outdoors, so I decided to take photos on our rooftop! I had my lash extensions removed the morning of so I felt extremely self-conscious about not having lashes on, but nonetheless, I still needed to take a photo!
Day 12 of 14 Days
This puffy top caught my eye at Nordstrom. I styled it with a pair of gold hoop earrings and kept everything else simple.
Day 13 of 14 Days
My friend Ashley got me this jacket for Galentine’s Day! Funny story – I went over to my dad’s house with the jacket and one of my brothers saw the jacket and asked who got it for me because he knew I wasn’t stylish enough to get it myself. He also asked if Ashley was a Gen Z, haha.
Day 14 of 14 Days
I wanted to close the challenge with something special! I found this old photo of me and my dad in 2003 so I wanted to recreate it 20 years later.
That concludes my 14 days of Valentine’s Day! This challenge was definitely difficult and had me thinking of different concepts without feeling redundant. I might try doing something
