Earlier this month, I celebrated my 26th birthday with a few of my good friends. Friends who are basically family at this point. For my birthday, I wanted something that was very intimate. Before the pandemic, I would host monthly game nights all the time and play my favorite board games, but now, as I get older, I rather have meaningful conversations with my friends. I decided that I wanted to host a dinner!
Hibachi Style Birthday Dinner
I had pretty much little to no time in preparing for the dinner with traveling to Ohio, Des Moines, and Los Angeles, so I hired an event planner! This was such a huge help since I had a client meeting at work that day in Tucson. We decided to do dinner Hibachi style.
Dinner Plating
While trying to plan for the theme of dinner, I spent some time looking at Pinterest for ideas and fell in love with learning how to set up a table! From charger plates to name cards – I love how classy and elegant it is to have a table set up. Also, I can’t wait to have a house with more space to have dinner parties with my friends.
Let’s Hibachi Dinner Catering
We hired Let’s Hibachi to cater our dinner and entertainment. If you’re looking to host a private dinner with entertainment, I would recommend looking into Let’s Hibachi. Let’s Hibachi will come to your home (or anywhere you’re looking to host dinner) and entertain you and your guests while preparing your food! You and your guests can pick two different types of meats from their selection – they also offer tofu for vegetarians:
- Chicken
- NY Strip Steak
- Shrimp
- Scallops
- Salmon
- Filet Mignon
- Lobster Tail
With Let’s Hibachi, you’ll also need to supply your own eating utensil, plates and bowls, beverages, tables and chairs, and space for the chefs to cook! For our dinner, we set up three 6-feet rectangular arranged in a U shape that fits 10 people. The food also included fried rice, vegetables, and a side salad. You’ll need a minimum of 10 people for the dinner.
I love how convenient this was to have private chefs come to your home!
Let’s Hibachi can cater your dinner whether you’re in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas.
Thank you so much to my friends who could make it to my birthday dinner on a Monday evening. I had so much fun, and I hope my friends had fun too! I hope to host more dinner parties in the future with different table set-ups. Also, a big thank you to Let’s Hibachi for hosting my birthday dinner.
