Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE hiking. I’m always down to go out for an adventure. I strongly believe that a new change of environment every once in a while is good for the soul and can lead to more positivity in life. My boyfriend and I decided to go hiking up in Sedona over Thanksgiving weekend. Originally I wanted to go camping, but of course, we procrastinated and we ended up googling a trail to hike the night before.
Bell Trail to Wet Beaver Creek
We decided to go on the Bell Trail because I really wanted to go somewhere with water. Back in June, we hiked up to the Devil’s Bridge. (Word of advice: don’t go hiking in June! Especially in Arizona! I don’t know what we were thinking exactly, but let’s just say that we were D Y I N G and we both got sunburnt pretty bad!) Although the view was great, I prefer scenic view with water instead, haha. The trail was fairly easy; roughly 7 miles round trip. In fact, we didn’t stop to rest or took any breaks at all. The hike took us about 4 hours to complete; we started hiking around 11 am and we concluded near 3 pm. This time of year in Arizona (October / November) is perfect to go hiking since it’s not blazing hot and once we got closer to the creek, it was actually pretty chilly. The creek was beautiful and we saw other hikers jumping off the cliff into the water.
Nonetheless, I hope you guys enjoy this short clip I filmed! If you have any suggestions on where we should go hike next, let me know down below! I really want to go camping, haha.
