You know that feeling when you have to purchase an item, but you know you’ll most likely end up using it once? Or if there’s something you need, but it’s not worth purchasing? Let me introduce you to Ruckify, a platform that allows you to rent your items or rent other people’s items!
This is great if you are trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I know I’ve been a bit more mindful this past year, especially with golf. Tyler’s mom gave me her old golf clubs and I’ve been letting my friends borrow my starter clubs. I also recently purchased recycled golf balls that were 50 cents each. Tyler and his family have so much golf equipment that it doesn’t make sense for me to go purchase new items.
Earn Money to Rent Your Items and Help the Environment
Here’s how Ruckify works:
Help The Planet
Every time you post your times for others to rent on Ruckify, this helps your community with their need for new items. Stop letting your old items collect dust and let it help someone else out!
Earn Money
There are so many things you can put up for rent. I still have my starter golf clubs that I’m not ready to let go of yet. Putting my golf clubs on the market will allow someone else to try out my clubs. This is a great way to earn money without having to trade your time!
Get Paid to Post
Even if your items aren’t being rented on the market, you can earn $5 RuckBucks for every item you post. The more you have to offer to the community, the more money you can use to rent.
I Know What You’re Thinking – What Are Some Items You Can Post?
Here’s a list of items I’ll be offering in the marketplace:
Old Golf Clubs
Since Tyler’s mom gave me her new golf clubs, I have no use for my old golf clubs. I don’t want to resell or give them away just yet, but putting it on the market allows for those who are interested in learning golf to try it out.
Camera Equipment
If you have a camera and lens that you don’t use often, you can also put those on the market. I have quite a few used cameras and camera lenses. I got a really good deal on my camera from Facebook Marketplace several years ago. It came with the camera body along with 4 other lenses. I personally only use 1 of the 4 lenses, so renting out the other lenses are a great way to earn money since I never use them.
Board Games
You know I love board games! I have 50+ board games and let’s be honest, I only play ~10 board games a month and the rest are collecting dust. How many times does someone play a game before they get bored? People can rent my board games for a party and don’t have to worry about storing or reselling afterward!
Being Sustainable with Ruckify
In this generation, sustainable living is one of the most important topics. Many people are looking for ways to adopt more sustainable habits. I know I’ve been more mindful of my lifestyle and if you’re like me, you’d be happy to know that renting is a very easy way to contribute not only to the environment but also to your local economy and community.
