June Monthly Income and Expenses Report

June was such a fun month for me. While I worked roughly an average of 47 hours a week for three weeks straight, I took one week off of work to take a solo trip to Los Angeles! I did a couple of shoots out there as well as coffee shop hop all over Pasadena and Los Angeles area. I had a couple of car problems and that took a huge chunk out of my savings account (Psst! If you’re interested in reading how to save money while in college, check out my previous blog post here). I’m so thankful for all the collaboration and partnership I had this month! Here is my June monthly income and expense report.

Total Expenses = $148.69

My expenses for June is a bit higher than my previous month (May). This is due to be investing in a VPN. The company I decided to go with is NordVPN. VPN allows you to hide your IP address while surfing the internet without tracking you. For some reason, I have been receiving a lot of spam links and reports attached to my blog and I’m not sure if this is because of a virus or what. Someone told me that installed a VPN might help with that, but we will see! They have a yearly package too which is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the month-to-month basis. I wanted to try it out for a month first before I commit, and by the look of it, I might switch over to it soon.

In addition to the VPN, I also decided to get BoardBooster to help with Pinterest, but unfortunately, they have closed down their service, so this will be the only month that I used BoardBooster.

This month, I’ve made a net income of $929.57.

I think a reason for this was because I was a lot more active. I changed up my hashtags and added more hashtags into my posts allowing more exposure to different companies and brands. In addition to the change in hashtags, while I was in Los Angeles, I brought along my business cards and left them at coffee shops. Hopefully, someone picked up my business card and checked out my blog, haha.
