Recently, I got invited to go to Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria media event. Lou Malnati first originated from Chicago and is expanding its restaurant to Arizona! This is the third and largest Arizona location in Scottsdale. This location is nearly 10,000 square feet and can seat up to 300 people. They have beautiful outdoor seating with garage doors.

For this event, I got to take a guest with me, and who better than to take my best friend who’s trying to be a food blogger! I swear, she doesn’t post enough and I’m always harassing her to post. She has a plethora of photos but just does not have the time to post. Everyone should go follow her – the places she visits are not just limited to the Arizona area. She and her husband are constantly traveling and trying out food places in different cities, so do not be discouraged if you are not from Arizona.

Appetizer

Nonetheless, we both ditched our studying sessions to attend Lou Malnati’s taste-testing event. We first ordered Lou’s Bruschetta as our appetizer. It was so delicious! The bread they used was crispy but it was not too hard that it hurts to bite down. The bruschetta had tomatoes, cheese, and some greens.

Pasta

The next item we order was Penne ala Malnati. This pasta was to die for. I’d most likely come back to Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria just for this pasta. Not going to lie. I love cheese and everything. Definitely took this home and ate it later that night. Haha.

The second to last time we ordered was The “Lou”. It was so good! At this time, I was pretty full so I did not really eat much; I ate half of one slice and took the rest home.

Chocolate Chip Pizza

To be honest, I totally forgot about desserts. I usually never order desserts when I go out to eat at restaurants, but the waitress said “gotta save room for dessert” and my face lit up. I was honestly down for ANY dessert. JUST FEED ME! The Chocolate Chip Pizza was amazing! The cookie was not too sweet and the ice cream with the cookie was so perfectly balanced.

This event is honestly every broke college student’s dream. Thank you so much to Meagan for inviting me to this event and thank you to my best friend, Mia, for coming to this event with me. Of course, many thanks to Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria for the food. I brought home food that lasted me for a week, haha. My apologies for not being the best food reviewer, but I will eat anything.
