I just love Valentine’s Day. All the pink, all the red, all the hearts. What’s a better holiday? I know that a lot of people hate Valentine’s Day. Shoutout to one of my nail clients, Jason, for hating this day because he said that you should always express your love to your significant other every day – not just one specific day. Jason is right, I don’t blame him for that. Regardless of me having a Valentine or not, this day has always been my favorite holiday.
I think it’s a day to express your love for EVERYONE. Not just your partner!
Valentine’s Day
My love for Valentine’s Day started in grade school. I’m not entirely sure why, but in my friend group, we would get so excited about this holiday. I think my best friend at that time and I were such in a loving mood and we both had Valentine’s. Our friend group celebrated Valentine’s Day as if it was Christmas! We all exchanged gifts and heartfelt letters. It was just one of those moments that touched my heart and I seemed to have carried out that feeling for this holiday every year.
Valentine’s Day to me is dressing in all pink and white. I love sending heartfelt text messages to everyone. Sure, not everyone loves this day. I for sure don’t really care for fancy dinner reservation or such, but it’s about spending time and letting your loved ones know you care about them. One of my favorite things to do is just staying in and watch funny movies!
Anyways, Valentine’s Day is such a fun time to take photos. It’s a perfect excuse to get dressed up and have a mini photoshoot with your gal pals!
P.S. These photos were from last year, hence no boobs lol.

Jason’s right! Sometimes we take our significant others for granted and should express love everyday!

I love it too. It’s a reminder of just what Jason said even though we shouldn’t need it.
