Yesterday, I joined SanTan Village for a special preview of the Made with Love Market. I know what you’re thinking – what is Made with Love Market? It’s a market featuring small local businesses that’s handmade and made with love, hence the name.

It’s not new news that small businesses are struggling during this time, which is why Made with Love Market started offering an online service: shopmadewithlovemarket.com. The online service allows anyone to shop local, small businesses whenever you want. You can also send electronic gift cards that will have a personalized message. This is perfect if you’re not located in Arizona!

The Made with Love Market will be at SanTan Village on July 24th, 25th, and 26th.

With everything going on, I know you’re worried about social distancing, but fear not! Made with Love Market are taking new precautions, such as:

• Markings on the floors to indicate social distancing
• Checkout counters with sneeze guards
• All staff wearing face masks or shields
• Limited capacity allowed in the venue
• QR codes at each booth to view all vendor products

I’m so grateful to be able to attend their special preview event. There were food and beverages from Thirsty Lion, Clean Juice, and Total Wine. Additionally, I received so many gifts from the event and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

I picked up the following items from some of the vendors:

• Floss Cotton Candy
  Two young sisters started the world’s best gourmet cotton candy, Floss Cotton Candy. their cotton candies are so cute and I got the “Unicorn Magic”. I mean, who doesn’t love unicorns?
• Hunter Jaymes Meat
  I picked out the Maple flavor jerky since I love maple syrup. Tyler was so excited to try out the jerky too! We’re both jerky lovers.
• Loil Life
  I received their face serum, herbal face mist, and pink clay mask sample set. The company produces organic products that are suitable for your home, your little ones, and your skin!
• The Modern Betty
  Handcrafted gourmet cookies made by The Modern Betty! When I got home, Tyler ate the whole cookie! Urghh, oh well. I love him, so it’s okay!
• Darling Three
  Darling Three offers monthly mini sessions, studio portraiture, rentals, and more. I definitely need new professional headshots for LinkedIn and work.
• Ellery Mae Candle Co
  They offer soy candles that are hand-poured in Arizona! I received their 12 oz soy candle in Capri and it smells so good! I’ve been obsessing over candles recently so I’m glad to add this to my collection.
• Lace, Grace, and Peonies
  This company offers hand-stamped and hand-painted marble coasters. When I saw the astrology coasters, I knew I needed the Libra one!
• Citizen Home Decor
  Citizen Home Decor sells handmade wooden decor pieces. The owner’s name is Scott Goodson and he started his business in 2013! I received the ‘Going Places’ pennant.
• Caron and Co Bath and Body
  Caron and Co offers locally made skincare and bath essentials. All of their soaps are made with a little bit of old school technique meshing with the modern technique. I received their mini body butter.
• Mama’s Cold Brew
  I’ve been meaning to try Mama’s Cold Brew for the longest time and I’m so excited for their grab-and-go coffee! I swear, I see them everywhere on Instagram.
• Shop Missy Jane
  I saw that Shop Missy Jane sells headbands and my eyes turned into hearts, like that one emoji – you know what I’m talking about! Also, their scrunchies have a luxurious feeling to it because of the material they use. I also love their headbands, I’ve been watching Hart of Dixie and OBSESSED.

SanTan Goodie Bag

In addition to all of these goodies I received, I also got gift cards and vouchers from SanTan Village retails and restaurants. In my SanTan swag bag, I received some exercise gear, such as a shaker, exercise bands, and flashing light to wear at night. Dillard’s also provided a gift from their Lancome counter, and Temp-pedic provided a lip balm and special coupon.

I’m rarely ever on the east side of the valley, but with all of these gift cards and vouchers, Tyler and I might have to spend a whole day at SanTan Village shopping and exploring. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and it’s always so fun bringing home presents and gifts because Tyler gets upset at me since I just leave things everywhere.
