It’s October 1st, which means two things: my birthday is TWO days away and Halloween! Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday (Valentine’s Day is!) but it’s still the top 3 of my favorite holidays. Give me all the candies in the world! I’m also in awe of all the talented makeup artists – I don’t think I’ll ever be a quarter talented as the makeup artists I see all over social media.

Halloween Decorations

Anyway, since Halloween is around the corner, I’m sure you are already decorating your place very spooky! I’ve never been able to actually decorate my place – broke college student. Additionally, I don’t think I’ll be decorating my place this year either. I moved in with Tyler officially two months ago and it’s been a struggle with space. We simply don’t have enough space!

How is Halloween celebrated in your household?

I’d love to know how your household celebrates Halloween! We also live in an apartment complex, so I don’t think we’ll be getting trick-or-treaters since the majority of the residents are in their late 20s+. This will be our first Halloween while living together!

When do you put up Halloween decorations?

I think Tyler would freak out if I start putting up spooky decorations – spider webs, bats, strobe lights, etc. I can already hear him saying something along the lines of, “Where are we going to put this?!” Eek! I can’t wait until we have a bigger place. We’re looking to buy a condo or townhome by the end of this year. Fingers crossed! I’m so excited – I can’t wait. I’ve been daydreaming about all the events and parties I’m going to host.

I think on the first day of October is the earliest you can put up Halloween decorations. What do you think?
