Escape rooms are such a fun thing to do. You can do these with friends, family, or even on a date, which is what DG and I did! It’s also a great team building activity as well.
I worked with PanIQ Escape Room a year ago and when I went to New York for spring break, I saw that they had a location in lower Manhattan! I was so ecstatic because this is something DG and I have been wanting to do for a while now.
If you haven’t heard of escape rooms, it’s honestly so fun. Basically, you are trapped in a room and your goal is to escape the room. Of course, you can’t just open a door from the escape room – you have to find clues and open locks. It’s a lot trickier than you think.
DG and I did the Wild West room and honestly, we could have done better, haha. I think it’s because we focused too much on the small details since we’re both overthinkers. We honestly thought we were going to be able to solve the escape room and win the game!
The Cage, the Cards, and the Cash
Howdy, pardner. Yer movin’ up to the big time. Word is there’s a buffalo-sized pile o’ cash buildin’ for the biggest card game this side of the Mississippi. There’s a back way in for you and yer crew to snatch it up before the game, but it comes with a catch. You gotta get yerself arrested… then you gotta break out again.
We even got ten extra minutes too and didn’t make it too far either, haha.
Let’s just say that DG and I are definitely not the ‘dream team.’ This is such a great double date idea – if anyone wants to double date, I am so down for it! Haha.
Thank you so much to PanIQ Escape Room for letting DG and I come and try the Wild West. We will definitely be back to try the other escape rooms!
