Tocaya Organica recently opened in Scottsdale, Arizona at Kierland Commons! I was invited to go try out their food and let me say, it was so good! Recently, I’ve been going to Kierland Commons quite often for lunch and dinner. I think it’s kind of funny that I moved closer to Old Town Scottsdale because I would always spend my time in that area, and in this past year, I’ve been spending a lot of time near Kierland Commons. So weird how things can change within a year time span.
The restaurant is a ‘Modern Organic Mexican’ cuisine. Basically healthy Mexican food is how I would phrase it. They invited me and a guest to come try out the food. My sister was in town so I decided to take her since I know she’s a huge fan of tacos haha. I also brought one of my little brothers too since he was bored and didn’t want to stay home. Since the company and I discussed on bringing one guest, I was a bit scared that they weren’t too keen on me bringing another person. Worst case scenario, I will just pay for his portion, which is no big deal.
Nonetheless, the manager was totally chill and told me not to worry about it! So nice of him, haha.
What We Ordered

My sister ordered 3 chicken tinga tacos. My brother ordered the taco combo which came with 2 tacos, 1 side, and a drink. He got carne asada for the tacos, chips and guacamole for his side, and watermelon lemonade for his drink! I ordered the keto bowl, burrito mexicano, and organica margarita. The keto bowl was so good. I thought the burrito mexicano was pretty spicy – maybe a tad bit spicy for me.
Anyways, this place was pretty good! I would definitely recommend coming here and try out the food. Thank you so much to Tocaya Organica for having me and my siblings.
