My name is Demi Bang! I’m an Arizona blogger and influencer that focuses primarily on beauty, college/career, and travel. My blog is a way for me to document my journey as I navigate through adulthood. In addition to being a blogger and influencer, I work at a marketing and advertising agency.

Aside from work and my blog, I love learning new things, traveling, and spending time with friends. I’m very passionate about being a mentor to others, which is why I love volunteering with Skate After School and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised in Tucson, Arizona. My mom and dad separated when I was 5 years old, which prompted my mom to move me and my sister to Arizona. Growing up with a single mom was tough, but my mom worked hard. She definitely shaped me into the person I am today.

When I was 12 years old, I fell in love with beauty and makeup. My mom didn’t allow me to have makeup, but I noticed beauty YouTubers were getting makeup sent to them for collaborations. That marked the start of my social media journey.

By the age of 13, I landed my first sponsorship on YouTube. This was when I realized how important social media marketing was and I began creating an online presence for myself. In 2016, I started my blog because I wanted a platform that I had full control over. Thus, the birth of my blog!

I moved up to Phoenix, Arizona to attend Arizona State University where I earned a B.S. in Communication with a minor in Mathematics. Currently, I work as an Account Manager at a marketing and advertising agency.
