I am officially moving out of my apartment and moving in with Tyler! It’s been bittersweet, to be honest. For the past three years, living by myself has been great, and it’s kind of nerve-racking to be living with Tyler. I have no place to hide now, haha, just kidding. Tyler gave me his spare key in January and since then, my apartment has been a place for friends and family to stay at when they visit Phoenix. It’s nice for them to have their own private space instead of couch surfing or spending money on a hotel, haha.

I personally believe that everyone should live alone at some point in their life. Living alone for the first time was a bit scary, but I ended up loving it! There are so many benefits to living alone.

Renting Out My Apartment to Friends and Family

I rarely ever go to my apartment since staying with Tyler. I check my apartment once every two weeks for mail and to grab items I need. My apartment became vacant and at some point, I did think about subleasing it. After thinking about it, I decided it was too much of a hassle to sublease it. I rather keep my apartment for friends and family who are visiting out of town. It’s nice because I want them to feel like they have their own privacy and they can do whatever they want!

My friend Mai-Ly (also my former pageant coach, mentor, big sister, etc) stayed at my apartment for the last two months and it’s been so nice having her around. She helped pack the majority of my stuff and I’m so grateful! I honestly am the worse packer in the world – I just throw things everywhere, haha.
